There’s a punk influence in there, sure - the sheer maelstrom that ushers in "City of the Dead" makes for one of the most impressive openers you'll hear - but its funneled into a less definable rock format. They're at their best when at their most visceral. This is a fine debut from a band well worth tracking down."
